So I took the plunge.
Interesting, because I pay attention to Facebook on a personal level less and less every day. I don’t want to know every detail, thought and action about anyone else the way that some want to put their lives on display for constant attention there. And by God I don’t want anyone else to know what I’m thinking and doing 24/7.
But from a professional standpoint, anyone that has a website that isn’t promoting it via Facebook and Twitter would be told they’re behind the times. I put this off for several years because I just don’t like posting on Facebook, but I guess it was time.
The final move was prompted by the realization that I do find myself texting friends and gulp, occasionally updating my own Facebook status when something notable happens during the game. So I figured if I posted on Facebook and Twitter instead, I’d avoid using Facebook personally and share the communicating with a wider audience.
So please follow us if you’d like by using the links on the right side of this page. I’m sending notifications whenever we have new content on the sites and I’m sure I’ll have a few things to say both from Soldier Field at home games and while watching away games remotely.
