Bills Fire Jauron

There are actually a few organizations across the NFL that are worse off now than our Bears, and it’s nice to shift focus every now and then away from our problems.  Yesterday the Bills fired “Uncle” Dick Jauron after not quite four lackluster years.  Jauron will be replaced by Perry Fewell, who incidentally coached the Bears’ defensive backs in 2005.

Hard to believe, but Jauron actually had less success in Buffalo than Chicago.  The one thing I’ll say I admired about the coach as he left Chicago in December 2003 was when he approached the podium and said “I don’t really have to say anything to you people (the media), so I’m not going to” and walked away.    Seems like getting fired is becoming old hat to him, as his comments yesterday were “I don’t have anything to say.”

Good luck, Uncle Dick.  Just glad there’s been 6 years since we’ve had to watch you here.

  1. 2005 is when our DBs were actually good. Too bad hes not around anymore.

  2. I had to laugh when I heard this news yesterday. Poor horrible-coach Dick.
