And it Begins…

Why did I let Brett Favre convince me he really retired? According to ESPN, Favre has contacted the Packers with “an itch to come out of retirement.”

It was a nice four months.

    I knew it was too good to be true. Can anyone out there convince Brett to finally hang it up?

  2. Yes-Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson. I’m afraid to say it because I fear Mr. Wonderful coming back and defying odds and becoming an American Hero coming back to guide everyone’s favorite Packers to one more title. But I think McCarthy and Thompson are sick of the game and want to move on. Time will tell. This doesn’t surprise me at all, though.

    Maybe Favre is going after George Blanda’s longevity record now that he owns most of the others.

  4. I saw on YAHOO! Sports Favre is denying that he wants to come back.

  5. Won’t happen, period. It’s a media falsification, the old man knows he can’t play anymore.
