They’re Killing Me

Thank God they won.  Kudos to Rex Grossman and Matt Forte.  The defense found themselves a little bit in the second half, but after an off-week of players saying how they’re so much better than we think they are, they stunk up the damn joint for the most part.

Not that Devin Hester’s fumble helped matters.

Win or lose, this 2008 Bears team is taking a year off my life with every game.  Trying to enjoy it, but this is getting tough.

But 5-3 and in first place, I’ll enjoy it at least until the 8-0 Tennessee Titans come in to take on the Bears.  With Grossman at quarterback.

  1. Should be interesting. What a heart-attack team, the defense is terrible, absolutely terrible. On the upside I guess Craig Steltz looked good after having a mediocre preseason, am I right? The Titans still don’t scare me, but I guess that’s just years of ineptitude talking. I think the Bears can beat them. It was good to see Forte have a good game for the first time in a few games…at least we’re getting our money’s worth!
