Matt, don't know if you remember the Superfans skit from 1997 when Chris Farley is living in denial that it's not 1986 forever. Something like that, huh?

Any more of this Packer bullcrap, and I'm going back to pretending that it's 1985 again. At least the Cardinals LOST the World Series that year!

Good article. Reminds me of when I was growing up in a sea of 49ers fans and having to watch Young take over after Montana. Meanwhile the bears were entering their 90s dark age.

I could see GB winding up with 3 or 4 losses. They have some tough games left ( @ Lions, @ SD, @ NYG). No chance they lose the division though, barring injuries.

The Packers while awesome on offense, had the 27th ranked defense going into Sunday. They also have benn famous for taking naps during the game allowing their opponent back into the game. Eventually, that is going to come back and bite them. They certainly are favorites to win the Super Bowl again, but I highly doubt they are going to run the table. Hell, the Rams of all teams just beat the Saints. Crazy things always happen in the NFL.

And, while it's hard to believe, as of right now, the Bears still have the last playoff spot. It's up to them whether or not they want to hang onto it. We will see how they do against the "Dream Team" next week. Time to put on two my favorite games in the Lovie era (2005 vs ATL and 2010 vs Phil) to get me pumped up.
