One More Make or Break Shot for 2008 Bears

The Bears faced the Green Bay Packers in the biggest game of the season.  The Bears were pummeled.

The Bears faced the Minnesota Vikings in the biggest game of the season.  The Bears were annhilated.

Tonight, the Bears host the New Orleans Saints in the biggest game of the season.  Will the Bears prevail or watch their 2008 season end for all intents and purposes?

Lovie Smith, of course, says the Bears look forward to the challenge.

Should his team win, the next two weeks will be as huge as this one.  Lose tonight and it really won’t matter until 2009.  Probably longer than that.

Enjoy the game.

  1. This is definitly going to be a defining moment: can the Bears do better (or worse) than the Chiefs?
    Go Bears go!

  2. Will the Bears lose to every team in the NFC South this year? I wouldn’t put it past them. However, the Saints are a much different team away from the dome. It would be hard to imagine the Bears blowing another lead and losing a close one at home. I think they squeak by with a victory tonight only because they’re playing in Chicago. Damn it’s cold!

  3. Actually, it wasn’t hard imagining the Bears blowing another lead tonight since they just did. But they didn’t lose! I know a win is a win, but that was a pretty weak victory.
