Hey, it's not too crazy to say the Bears might very well be 7-6 by next weekend ... after that, we'll see.

JDM-Thanks buddy. I can't believe I typed Greg, that was totally subliminal for some reason. I definitely meant Bryant and fixed it. Go Bears...we'll see.

You mean Bryant Gumble, not Greg. And yes, Bryant Gumble is awful. When I think of Bryant Gumble, I think that epsiode on Beavis and Butthead when he was still on the Today Show.

"Good morning Katie."
"Good morning Bryant. How are you?"
"Me couldn't be better. You?"
"Just fine. How was your weekend?"
"Mine, couldn't be better. You?"
"Just fine." And so on...

My Packer fans wrote off Aaron Rodgers after three games. Made no sense to me what-so-ever. He looked fine yesterday much better than Favre. Sure, he's no Brett Favre, but who is?

As for our beloved, is Brandon Jacobs still out? Since Eli is practicing his annual second half of the season sucking, the defense might actually play well. The offense may be ok, as long Fred Miller doesn't play. If he does, Grossman better have a good long term disablity plan. He won't last long with the Giants DEs...

Harry, thanks. You sum up my feelings exactly-I have hoped for the best and prepared for the worst about every week in the fall since 1979. Granted, a precious few years I didn't really have to prepare for the worst, but I'm always prepared for it. I do also hope they can get it together. Problem is, every week this year it has looked like they have it together, they have flopped.

Disappointing season thus far, but I will continue to hope for the best (and prepare for the worst - the life of a Bears fan!). I don't know who's going to win, but I am actually kind of excited for this week's game. Who knows what could happen...we have AP starting, Wale has been playing great the past few games, and Devin is always an X factor. I would not be surprised to see the Bears come together and actually play a complete game and beat the Giants. On the other hand, I would not be surprised to see them totally fall apart on one side of the ball (or both) and lose embarassingly. Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst - Go Bears! P.S. Great website, Roy. Keep up the good work.
