Since Eli is practicing his annual second half of the season sucking, the defense might actually play well. The offense may be ok, as long Fred Miller doesn't play. You sum up my feelings exactly-I have hoped for the best and prepared for the worst about every week in the fall since 1979. Granted, a precious few years I didn't really have to prepare for the worst, but I'm always prepared for it. I do also hope they can get it together. I don't know who's going to win, but I am actually kind of excited for this week's game. Who knows what could happen...we have AP starting, Wale has been playing great the past few games, and Devin is always an X factor. I would not be surprised to see the Bears come together and actually play a complete game and beat the Giants. On the other hand, I would not be surprised to see them totally fall apart on one side of the ball (or both) and lose embarassingly. Hope for the best, and prepare for the worst - Go Bears! P.S.
