As I have said before, without injuries this team is a playoff team and a force to be reckoned with. They key to the team really is Jay Cutler. The NFL has changed to favor an offense. Evident by how many passing records are suddenly being broke and you have three QBs this season throw over 5,000 passing yards.

The Bears really need to continue to find offensive lineman, and then sign a top tier WR free agent (I’m looking at Vincent Jackson or Bowe) and then draft one of those 6’2+ WR’s as well in this draft (Like Michael Floyd in the 1st round). They need to then decide if Khalil Bell is a good backup option or not, if not, they need to find another new backup running back since Marion Barber obviously is done in this city.

For as much talent some of the other top teams might have an offense, take out the franchise QB, and they are just dudes. Earl Bennet looked awesome when Cutler was throwing him the ball. Now that he hasn’t been thrown the ball, you don’t hear his name called…

Forgive people with the Bell love. We are the same fan base that thought Hanie would be a solid backup after seeing one quarter of play. Hell, a lot of people wanted Hanie to starter, as strange as that sounds now. But, I’m happy for Bell, and wouldn’t mind him as Forte’s backup next year.

If Angelo is true to his word wants to go out with a bang, I can see him trying to build “The Dream Team”. The Bears did make the biggest off season moves in 2009 and 2010. Of course, those moves need to make sense, and I’ve already stated my opinion on throwing money at FA in the NFL. Start drafting better, and you won’t have this issue…
