The only time since the 1940's the Bears have worn white at home were in the 2005-2007 home openers. Thank God they stopped that this year. I am intrigued by this myself and wanted to interview Bears equipment manager Tony Medlin for my book but he wouldn't give me the time of day. I know it is generally home=blue, away=white, but sometimes they wear the white at home, and the color of the pants seems to switch at random. The Bears navy blue jerseys have been their home uniforms for many decades, and it should continue. They are classic, and look great. Needless to say, I am not a big fan of their orange jerseys.
