Believe in the 2008 Chicago Bears

I’ve been coiled like a spring for the last two hours.  I could ramble, but I won’t.

The Bears won, as ugly as it was.  I could go on and on about the good that happened and the bad.  It was ugly.  But the Chicago Bears won, and there’s no other choice to do anything but believe the 2008 Chicago Bears are going to win out and win the division.  I don’t know what else to do at this point.  Other than become coiled like a spring for 60 minutes of each of the final two games.

At least we know the Packer rematch will be as meaningful a Bears-Packers game as you could possibly want to see.

  1. Question?

Will fox air the MIN vs ARI on Sunday? They must show this game.
    Any word?

  2. According to the guide, Fox will show the Min vs Ari game here (Chicago area anyways).

  3. That was an ugly but exciting win. I’m with you Roy, we gotta believe now! Spectacular performances by Manning, Hester & Alex Brown, great punting as usual by Maynard, and true grit by Forte getting back on the field after being injured to help contribute. The lack of offense has me a little concerned, but they sure came through when we needed it. Props to Orton for the last two drives. He is maturing as a quarterback…hopefully he can continue to improve his play and eliminate some of the turnovers. And hopefully Tavaris Jackson plays like Tavaris Jackson on Sunday and the Cards stomp the Vikings. I believe! GO BEARS!!!

  4. Can we Bear fans finally wake up to the fact Orton is not the answer to our quarterback problem! The Bears need to sign Matt Casselle of New England or Draft a quarterback who can be a true leader. Also, Lovie Smith and his coaching staf need to be fired now! We need to find a former Bear player who knows what real Bear football is about especially the defense. A Bear defense should not be sitting back in cover two but should be attacking other teams offenses. And we finally need a offensive coach with a new bigger offensive line to bring our offense some life! Until we do this you will see the same results year after year!

  5. What is this unbelievable statement out of Bears Camp That Kyle Orton is entering the 2009 season as the Starter—ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Andy Larsen has hit the nail on the head. Kyle Orton IS NOT, I REPEAT, IS NOT THE FUTURE OF THE BEARS AT QUARTERBACK–. The front office of the Bears need s to get real and quit being so cheap.

Kyle Orton IS NOT, I REPEAT, IS NOT THE FUTURE OF THE BEARS AT QUARTERBACK–. The front office of the Chigago Bears needs to get real and quit being so cheap. I have often said the Bears need to go after Matt Cassel and stop messing around with the allegiance of the Bear faithful. Most of the former Bears, of any note, who the bears gave away, over the last two years, are going to the playoffs (Bernard Berrian, Chris Harris, Brenden Aienbedejo, Musin Muhamad, just to name a few) The Bears front office has got to realize YOU MUST SPEND MONEY TO IMPROVE YOUR PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mixing and matching players, in hopes of getting a good team, on the cheap IS NOT GOING TO WORK.
