Mer is giving me a bit of a hard time, no offense taken. I admire his passion. I hope he's right too. We're all different types of people and fans. I love the Bears but I don't usually allow blind faith to run me. I hope they shove it in my face and start 3-0 for sure.

I hope you're right Mer! I'd love nothing more than our beloved to squash the Saints and then the Packers the following week! They'd get mad-love!! I was impressed by the D-line, which I was really worried about. How'd Tommie Harris do in Indy... UGH! Keep the positive vibes everyone! They can do it! Wouldn't ya love to see Cutler holding up the trophy after all the crap he was given after the NFC Championship game? That'd shut some Green Bay traps! And Maurice Jones-Drew's as well!

Just finished watching the home opener and i was blown away .These guys have what it takes to go all the way. I just hope some of you doubters start growing some balls and back your Team! By the way in the playoffs the saints got their asses handed to them by the seahawks and the packers only beat 7 with our backup qb. 0-3?Thats just weak dude come on. Chicago Bears 3-0 just watch and thats not just blind faith. These guys plays as a team and when that happens Big names and stats go out the window and its any givin sunday.Bear Down!

Let's see. The Bears are a three point dog in their home opener. They are predicted to finish third in the division behind the Lions of all teams. Most "experts" don't see them returning to the playoffs. They've also haven't had the best of all seasons. So, in short, I feel pretty good... They always thrive when they are doubted. Like last season, I'm going to go into the season with no expectations and just enjoy football. I'm going tomorrow to the opener, and I can't wait!

It's sorta weird, having just finished a book on Walter Payton, reading so much about the current Bears and comparing the running back situation now to then. Thirteen years, one guy. Now it's woefully inconsistent—which is a huge problem.
