Rashied Davis, Huh?
Yes, the Chicago Bears need receivers, after losing their top two from 2007. So today they re-signed Rashied Davis to a multi-year deal.
I’ll have to hold my excitement here a little. Yes, I’ll always remember Davis for his game-winning touchdown catch at Minnesota in 2006. His critical catches against Tampa, then Seattle in the playoffs that season were game-saving.
But this doesn’t solve the problem at receiver. I’m sure we all know this.
The way I see it, the signing doesn’t hurt at all. Davis is still a valueable player on the special teams. With Brandon whatever his last name leaving, I don’t mind this one at all. If he contributes on offense, it’s a plus in my book.
