National Attention on Bear Offense

…and of course, assorted takes on Tank.

Pat Kirwan from writes an intriguing article on a subject that is usually just joke fodder: the Bear offense.? Kirwan actually believes fans will see an improvement in Chicago’s third down offense, and it’s an?improvement that will pay dividends on the field in 2007.

Tank postmortems:

From Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times here.

We all knew the Sun-Times’ Jay Mariotti would weigh in on the subject; his article is here.

From Bob LeGere in the Daily Herald here.

And David Haugh in the Chicago Tribune here.

Hopefully we won’t have to hear too much more about Tank or his snack activities until the suspension commences on opening day.

Team OTA Report:

Interesting that Chris Harris started ahead of Adam Archuleta in the Bears first OTA session, as reported by Biggs.? Rookie first-round tight end Greg Olsen looks good too, big surprise there considering the Bears’ history at the tight end position since 1966.
