I see that it’s being reported that Marinelli has gone. I’d hoped he’d stay – he’s done great things with the defensive line.

Exciting stuff guys. First time a true offensive mind has been hired in my lifetime. Fact of the matter is he could be the next Bill Walsh or the next Dick Jauron, but we’ll find out one way or another. I’m expecting the best.

I thought they would pick Arians based on what he did this season. But I can’t complain about Trestman. He seems to have all the attributes Emery was looking for.

I’m optimistic also, worked w/ several great QBs in the past. Hopefully there will be big changes to the OL & TE groups as well.

Like I said yesterday, I’m cautiously optimistic about this choice. He seems well respected around the league, and I like the way Emery has handled this search, so I feel good about its results. I’m hoping that it works out well.
