Brian, thanks. Didn't hear that-that's a Hampton classic for sure. I'm surprised he didn't toss in something about putting lipstick on a pig while he was at it.

I love this quote from today...lol “We’ve got Hellen Keller searching for the exit here,” Dan Hampton told The Mully and Hanley Show on Tuesday. “Ted Phillips is the one that had to hire a search firm to go out and bring us the treasure that Jerry Angelo was. Now, who is making the same decision? It’s Ted Phillips.” ...although,I still have hope...

Actually I think either the Chargers guy or the Giants guy would be good candidates and could at least help the Bears in the draft like JDM says. Ruskell can stay where he is.

Well, to look at it another way, while I understand what you are saying, I was rather happy Saban turned down the Bears. I didn't want him. He rubbed me the wrong way from the get go, and we all saw what he did in Miami. I pretty much didn't want any college coach, period. So while Lovie might've not been the top choice, the other choices would've been complete disasters. And, we already saw what happened when the Bears hired the hottest coaching prospect out there. Wanny wasn't nearly as good as advertised.

As for the list, well, every report says they have a background in college scouting/drafting. I have no clue if that's a good thing. I guess I understand it since well, their drafting has blown chunks. But really, the guy that will bring the Bears the most buzz, I really don't want anyway.
