Favre, Vikings Squeeze Every Last Bit of Dignity

In case any of you haven’t heard, the Vikings have taken the unprecedented-and we mean unprecedented-step of moving a player’s injury status from OUT (0% chance of playing) TWO steps up to “questionable” on the day of the game.

I can hear the pregame show already, and it goes something like this:

“Leave it to Brett Favre, the legend, Superman, to miraculously heal/tough it out for his teammates…is there anything this guy can’t do?”

I am 100% convinced that Favre will start and play in this game.  He wants one more shot at preventing the Bears from making the playoffs.  When he plays, I certainly hope the Bears defense is as sick of this crap as I am and undoubtedly the rest of us are.

  1. Bears defense did take care of him.

  2. Extra nice to see the rookie Corey Wootton, rarely active, blast around and be the one to lay finality on our old washed-up nemesis.
