Farmer’s Run Continues?

Sam Farmer is the NFL writer for the Los Angeles Times, apparently, and his picks are syndicated in the Chicago Tribune, among other papers.

I’ve gotten a kick out of the fact that I believe Farmer has picked against the Bears in 9 of 10 weeks this season.  If that’s the case, then he’s something like 4-6 in picking Bears games.  Farmer doesn’t disappoint this week by picking Philadelphia over Chicago.  And he doesn’t just pick the Eagles, he picks them big by a score of 38-24.  Not only does he think the Bears defense will be embarrassed by Ron Mexico and company, but somehow he thinks the Bears offense will score 3 touchdowns.  Neither of those predictions make sense to me.

Of course he also predicts Green Bay (playing at the NFC-best Falcons where Atlanta is almost perfect at home) and the Vikings (at Washington) to win easily.

No respect.  Continues still.  Hopefully the Bears can embarrass Farmer yet again.

  1. We can get an “expert” bonfire started if the Bears win this one.
    Go Bears!

  2. Farmer’s run continues. Hopefully he picks the Lions next week.
