Broncos at Bears Preseason 2012

It’s certain none of us will see much with the starting 22 players in tonight’s preseason opener at Soldier Field. (How is it possible that the Summer just began and it’s time for preseason football already?) But the Chicago Tribune did a good article on what bears watching. (Unfortunately you’ll have to sign up with the Tribune to see it now.)

The main thing I am hoping to see is NO INJURIES. I’m not so much worried tonight about an injury to a starter (fingers crossed), because they won’t be playing that long. But guys like Shea McClellin and Alshon Jeffery will be seeing extended action with the second unit, and the most important task of the preseason is getting these guys to the regular season unscathed.

Enjoy, and come back to let us know what you thought.

  1. Looking forward to seeing the new offense and the ’12 draft picks. Will be also interesting to see who makes an impression tonight, either positively or negatively, especially the guys who haven’t proven a lot to this point, like Corey Wootton for example.
