Forte will continue to state his case to the media. It will then get to a point where he will never play for the Bears again, feels disrespected, etc. He is going to test the market to prove a point. Then, he will end up re-signing with the Bears because, in the end, they had the best offer after all. What will happen with Forte is the same thing that will with Briggs. As for Forte, he is in the unfortunate position of RB where teams just aren't willing to spend a lot in this passing league to have an "elite" RB. You gotta roll with the punches Matt, I know a $7.1 million raise for this year is horrible but think hard about it. I'm sure you can invest it and make some REAL money some day /end sarcasm.
