Bears Trade for Defensive Tackle

On Sunday, the Bears sent a reported fifth-round pick in the 2008 draft to the Buffalo Bills to acquire defensive tackle Darwin Walker.? Walker had been acquired from Philadelphia, and he had vowed to not report to the Bills until he received a new contract.

  1. This is a serious pickup for the team. Dusty doesn’t have to be thrown into the fire and Tommie has a guy who doesn’t need to be told how to get into the backfield. This might be the strongest Bears defensive line in terms of depth since the 80s.
