Bears Sign Backup QB Collins

The Chicago Bears today signed quarterback Todd Collins to compete for the backup role.  It will be interesting to see how the 82-year old Collins (kidding, I’m the same age as him) does.  Let’s just hope and pray we never see him in the regular season.

I remember when Collins was drafted in 1995, and when he became Buffalo’s starter in 2007.  He didn’t do well.  But he did beat the Bears in 2007 in his first game action in some time.

  1. That joke about Collins was funny Roy! I got a good laugh out of that one. I guess it wasn’t either between him or calling up Jeff George again right? :D
