Febster-Funny, the article has been updated since the day of publication. When it was written, it said “first time since 1977″. Now it says “first time since its inception.” Good to know.

Hayes states that this was the first time ever that the Bears have made a supplemental draft selection. The Bears have never done this before in the 33 year history of the supplemental draft. The first player chosen in 1977 was Al Hunter by the Seattle Seahawks. Other notables are Bernie Kosar, Brian Bosworth, Cris Carter, and Steve Walsh.

I got through and got tickets! Bears vs Jets on the day after Christmas! How sweet is that?! Paying face value for tickets is so friggin sweet.

Just more insurance in case Forte doesn’t show the explosiveness that he lost last year with his injury. Obviously Forte won’t get cut but I could see him taking Wolfe or Bell’s spot. Let the competition begin!

Oh and I see Unga got kicked off the BYU team because he got his girlfriend pregnant, not taken lightly at BYU.
