Mike Brown is one of my all-time favorite Chicago Bears. That guy has more heart than any person I know. His TD returns, in back-to-back overtime wins against the 49ers and Browns, were uncanny and simply unbelievable. I don’t think any of us will ever see anything like that in consecutive games ever again.

Just curious Dan, what other ex-Bears are still playing in the league that had 8 years in Chicago and hold all-time records with the Bears?

Hmmm, I think Brown is a mistake, if only cos he is still playing and this opens it up to other ex-Bears throughout the league – now and in the next few years.

The scouts may have viewed him as too small and too slow but his heart is a lot bigger than others. For the guy to come back injury after injury and give it his all says a lot about him. That’s guts right there
