Here, the Vikings got the last of their 6 straight 1992-94 wins over the Bears, but unlike the previous 4 1/4 contests, they did not dominate on defense. This was a NO-NAME Bears' offense that was actually moving downfield on Randle, Del Rio, and the Viking D for a change! As you mentioned, this (ESPN Thursday night) game felt like the first real "big" game the Bears had played since 1992. And it was great to see the Bears equal to the task of playing "with the spotlight on them". Though they lost, the Bears looked like a team on the rise. This was truly a gripping game to watch.
